A Great Place to Grow, Committed To Excellence for ALL Students!

Moving us Forward!
Chester Park Elementary School of the Arts hosted an ABC Networking Meeting.  This meeting of arts educators drew more than 150 teachers and administrators from across the state.  The guests were treated to performances by the talented CPESA chorus, strings ensemble and dancers.  The visitors are meeting with arts education professionals to exchange ideas and celebrate arts in our schools.

Good news to share!

Dr. Slayman's Teacher Cabinet, made up of each school's Teacher of the Year, recently met with Senator Creighton Coleman and Representatives Greg Delleney and MaryGail Douglas.  The legislators and educators talked about important education issues, including school funding, flexible start date and state testing.
