hiTEC Moving us Forward!

As part of our 1:1 technology initiative, hiTEC (Helping Integrate Technology, Education and Careers),
the Chester County School District now offers HP Elite tablets to all
high school students, administrators and teachers for use in the classroom and at home.       



Students were very excited to receive their new tablets!

Mentor Me

Mentor Me is a program that pair adult volunteers with students in grades K-12.  For more information, contact Tammy Taylor at ttaylor@chester.k12.sc.us.  

School Menus

Dual-enrollment Orientation

Chester County Dual Enrollment Orientation Night- 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 on the USC-Lancaster campus. The program will run approximately one hour and USC-L faculty members and staff will conduct an informative session with parents and students.  Campus tours will be available before the program from 4-6 p.m. with student guides and after the program with faculty guides.

SC Exit Exam no longer required-affects students from 1990-now

Students who did not pass the HSAP but have otherwise met all graduation requirements must be informed by the school district that there is a process in place for them to petition the school board for a diploma.  Please contact the District Director of Accountability, Tammy Smith Taylor, (803-581-9541) if you have any questions or concerns.More
