Here is some important information regarding Elementary School Packets Student Meals.
Elementary students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, please complete your first packet of activities by April 15th. You will receive grades for your work! You can turn in this packet on Wednesday, April 15th and pick up a new one at the following school feeding sites between 10:00am-1:00pm:
Chester Park Students- back of building at cafeteria loop
Great Falls Elementary Students- Great Falls High at loop
Lewisville Elementary Students- Lewisville Middle front loop
Please make sure your first/last name and your teacher’s name is on your packet.
You may have someone else drop off your student's old packet and pick up the new packet for you. Please make sure that the student's first/last name and teacher's name is on the packet before it is dropped off.
If you or someone else cannot turn in your packet and pick up a new one on April 15th, please email your student's principal to make other arrangements. Packets are not available to be picked up or dropped off at bus stop meal locations.
Student Meals will continue through the rest of this week. On Thursday of this week, students will receive 2 breakfast and 2 lunch meals for Thursday and Friday of this week. On Friday, Students will receive 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals to be eaten during the week of spring break. Student meals will resume on Monday, April 13 at the three school locations only.

Just a reminder a few reminders -
Report Cards will be mailed out to everyone on Thursday, March 26, 2020. Please allow a few days to receive your report card in the mail.
Please find the updated eLearning resource document posted on our webpage. These are wonderful extra resources for your student to use.
Breakfast and lunch will be delivered again today starting at 10 am.
Transportation Services bus drivers will be delivering meals, running their regular bus-route(s), making stops at their regular destinations delivering food to children 18 years or younger at their normal bus stop. Buses will start at 10 am delivering meals and run approximately 4 hours behind normal pick up time. Children do not have to be a bus rider to receive a meal.
Please note that the times for pick- up has changed to 10 am - 1 pm

Children can expect to receive lunch and breakfast for the day, at the time of meal delivery/pick-up. This process will continue Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 1 pm. Again children must be present at the time of retrieval of their meals and meals can not be consumed on site.
Good afternoon CCSD Families,
Based on the current weather forecast and the possibility of dangerous road conditions tomorrow morning, we will operate on a THREE-HOUR DELAY Friday, February 21, 2020. No breakfast will be served. Lunch will be served to all students. We will continue to monitor the forecast throughout the night, and if additional changes are made we will notify everyone through our normal communication networks.
Again, all after-school programs are cancelled for today,Thursday afternoon, and we will operate on a three-hour delay on Friday, February 21st.
After surveying the current conditions of many roads within the county due to flooding in the area, Chester County School District will operate under a two-hour delay for all students and staff members on Friday, February 7, 2020. Buses will operate on this delayed schedule.
To help ensure the safety of our students and staff, our team will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the night and into the morning to determine if any further schedule changes are needed.
If a further adjustment to Friday's schedule is needed, it will be announced no later than 6:30 a.m. through our regular channels, including phone calls, email, and social media posts.

Here is some important news from Chester County School District.
Monday, January 6, 2020 is the first day back for students and staff. This is the make-up day from the day missed due to the water issues in the county.
Monday, January 20, 2020 there is no school for students or staff. This is in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day.
The next school board meeting will be on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 6 PM at the district office.
Chester County School District Bond Referendum for new and renovated buildings throughout the district will go to vote February 4, 2020. For more information regarding the bond, please visit our website. More information will be mailed and emailed out regarding the bond in the upcoming weeks.

Welcome to The Learning Center (TLC), Chester County School District's Alternative Education Progam. If you are a new student to The Learning Center, let me be the first to say that it will be a pleasure to serve you. If you are a returning student from last year or any previous period, we are glad to have you back and look forward to serving you again.
The Learning Center Alternative Program serves middle and high school students in the Chester County School District who have behavioral and/or attendance issues as well as those who may function better in an alternative setting. Students are referred to The Learning Center by their home school administration or the district hearing officer. The purpose of The Learning Center is to provide a structured learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic development for students in grades 6-12. The main goal of the program is to have students successfully return to their home schools.
Please know that hte teachers of The Learning Center along with the administrative staff are readily available to assist you. We consider The Learning Center to be a family, and as with any family there are responsibilities. We, the staff, will be responsible for providing you with a regorous education along with guidance and support for your future endeavors. You, the student, will be responsible for being prepared each day, applying yourself, and following the rules. You, the parent, will be responsible for taking an active role in your child's educational experience.
We hope that our program will serve to foster an atmosphere in which every individual is respected and encouraged to reach their fullest potential academically and socially.
