No Child Present Meal Pick Up Procedures
-
In response to current circumstances caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has authorized a waiver to allow parents/guardians of children 18 and under to pick up meals for their children without them being present. In order to receive a meal without a child being present a parent/guardian must provide a form of identification to verify each child is eligible to receive a meal.
Below are acceptable documentations that can be used to determine a child’s eligibility in their absence.
A school ID for your child/children
An individual student report card
An official email or letter from your school listing your children who are enrolled in school
Attendance record or any other official school document showing the name of your child
A student pick-up placard which has the name of your child
A birth certificate
A parent/guardian may also pick up meals for other children with a signed letter from their parent giving them permission. The letter must list each child’s full name, age and provide acceptable verification for ea ch child.
If your children are with you, there is nothing you need to provide. Please only visit one site.
