My name is Masnoh W. Wilson and I am originally from Liberia, West Africa. I emigrated to the United States in 1985 and have lived here ever since.  Two years ago, I moved here from Connecticut; it is something I had wanted to do for years, and I am so glad I did get the chance to do it. 

 I am an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Education. This is my fifth-year teaching in a public school. I have been a preschool teacher, a Head Start supervisor, a daycare provider, a reading interventionist and an adjunct at a community College in New Haven, CT. I enjoy writing poetry and have self-published two picture books for young children. 

I am a mother of four grown children and now have a cat, Sprinter, who is the love of my life. 

I have always enjoyed working with children and inspiring them to be all they can possibly be.  Children bring so much joy and energy to everything they do. With that said, I am honored to be your child’s teacher.
