Hello! My name is Bethany Haney and I am the General Music teacher for Chester Park School of the Arts. This is my second year here and I am so excited for the 2021-2022 school year.

I have a bachelor’s degree in music education from Anderson University in Anderson, SC. I am also currently working towards a master’s degree through The University of South Carolina. I grew up in Rock Hill and that is where I currently live with my husband and our three cats. I am currently pregnant and expecting my baby girl to arrive in November. I am a huge Disney fan and a big lover of Broadway, so I love to travel to Disney World and New York City any chance I can.

I have been a music teacher for 7 years. In my music class I love to use percussion instruments like rhythm sticks, drums, shaky eggs, and more. I also love to incorporate lots of singing and dancing in my music classes. Some of my older students also get to learn how to play instruments like ukulele, recorder, piano, and steel drum. I look forward to an awesome school year full of making music!
