My name is Melissa Burns and excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I am looking forward to starting my 8th year teaching at Chester Park of the Arts. It allows me to combine two of my passions, teaching and the arts.

Previously, I have taught grades 2-8 and was an instructional coach in Rock Hill. I taught 4th for two years in Clinton, SC.

I currently reside in York. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to musicals in Charlotte, and playing music bingo. I cannot wait to see what this year has instore for us!
