Allow Notifications

  • When you first install the Chester County School District app, you will be asked whether you would like to allow notifications. Tap "Allow." This will enable you to receive push notifications on your device when we send out an alert.

    If you originally chose "Don't Allow" but would now like to receive push notifications sent by the district or your school(s), you can update your notification preferences in your phone's Settings (not in the app itself).

  • How to Update the Schools You Follow

    If you've had the app installed for a couple of years, it may be time to update the schools you are following. This will ensure that you see the information that is most relevant to you and your family. 

Step One

  • Open the app and swipe to the screen where you see the Settings icon. Tap the Settings icon to open it.

Step Two

  • Tap Follow Schools at the top of the screen.

Step Three

  • Tap on the school you would like to follow, and select the items you wish to add, or simply tap All at the top.
