Mrs. Regena Farrar
Hello Fourth Grade Parents,
I am extremely excited to be your child’s teacher this year. Your child has many great learning opportunities to experience this year. I would like to take a few minutes to share some information with you that will help me partner with you in helping your child make the most of these learning opportunities.
Please allow me to share with you some information about myself. I grew up in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School. My husband, Joel, and I have two daughters and one son-in-law. We live in Rock Hill with one dog, Doodle, and two cats, Moe-Moe and Boots.
After graduating from Great Falls High School, I continued my education at Winthrop University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and my Master of Education in Reading. I have also completed post-graduate work at the University of South Carolina and Converse College. I have certification in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Secondary English. I also have Gifted and Talented endorsement.
I began my 27-year teaching career in Chester County where I taught at English/Language Arts at Great Falls Middle School, Lewisville Middle School, and Great Falls High School. Then my family and I moved to Rock Hill where I taught at Westminster Catawba Christian School as a K5 teacher and a Library Media Specialist to students in grades Preschool through 5th Grade. I am thrilled to be back at Lewisville as your child’s teacher.
