About Me

Call me Captain E as I love to sail the sea of learning with my students, and I am honored to be a Special Education Resource at CHS and a GRIT edTech Mentor at Chester County School District. I am an education advocate. I served for 12 years in my country doing volunteer work to teach out-of-school youth and adults. Our aim is to provide free education to underprivileged.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from University of Caloocan City, Philippines and took my Master of Arts in Special Education at National University, and currently finishing my Doctor of Philosophy in Education at University of Perpetual Help Dalta System.

The prospect of working with your students this year excites me. I would be happy to speak with you if you have any queries. Contacting me via email at jestrada@chester.k12.sc.us is the quickest way to do so. To arrange a conference or to email me with questions or concerns, please do so. You can reach my voice mail by calling the front desk, which will connect you. When the students are out of the room, I'll give you a call or respond to your email.

"Do not stop learning as life does not stop teaching".
