I am originally from Summerville, SC, and currently live in Fort Mill, SC. I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education. I also graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master's in Library and Information Science. I've been teaching for over 30 years--7.5 as a classroom teacher and the rest as a Library Media Specialist.
You can usually find me reading or doing something active outside. I also love to travel and spend time with my family—which includes three cats who think they are human.
I'm looking forward to another great year at LES!

What is ACCENT?
Activities for Capable Children with Exceptional Needs and Talents
ACCENT is a pullout enrichment program for gifted and talented students in third, fourth, and fifth grades. Students are eligible for ACCENT based on qualifying test scores. During ACCENT class, students work with an advanced curriculum in the areas of ELA, Math, Logic/Critical Thinking, and Unit Studies in Science or Social Studies. Usually, third-graders attend ACCENT for one half-day per week, while fourth and fifth-graders attend approximately four hours.
Our school district currently has two gifted and talented teachers. Mrs. Jennifer Rosborough serves students in the Lewisville area, and Ms. Terri Roberts serves those in Chester and Great Falls.

Library Book Check Out
Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade are allowed to check out one book at a time. Students in Grades 2-4 are allowed to check out two books at a time.
If a book is overdue, students will not be able to check out another book until the lost book is resolved. If a student can not find a book or damages a book, they are responsible for paying for the book so that a replacement can be purchased.
We want our students to have access to as many books as possible, so we please ask that students take good care of their library books.
