My name is April Smith and I have been a teacher at Lewisville High School for the past 7 years. I have a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Mathematics (K-14) from Concordia University. I most recently have completed an additional certification in Administration and Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. I have taught an array of subjects including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Probability and Statistics, and AP Calculus. I have a passion for teaching and love to watch my students grow in their mathematical abilities in my classroom.
