The Office of Special Services identifies and serves students with disabilities and special needs to ensure a successful transition to school, work, and community in the least restrictive environment. With a full continuum of special education programs, we are committed to providing high-quality, researched-based instruction to meet the individual needs of our students.

Transfers

All requests for special education transfer records can be made to Merrick Owen.

Child Find Information

Chester County School District has in effect several policies and procedures to ensure that the school district will identify, locate, and evaluate all children residing in the county with disabilities who may be in need of special education and related services. This includes all children ages 3 to 21 who attend public or private schools; those who are home schooled; those who are homeless or are wards of the state.
