We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jorge Alicea as our new Director of Safety and Security at Chester County School District!
Mr. Alicea brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to safety. He spent 23 years with the New York Police Department (NYPD), gaining extensive knowledge and honing his skills in law enforcement, crisis management, and community engagement. After his remarkable career with the NYPD, he became a School Resource Officer at Lewisville Elementary School, where he dedicated six years to ensuring the safety of students and staff.
Known for his proactive approach to security, Mr. Alicea addresses potential issues before they become major problems. We are confident he will lead CCSD’s security efforts with expertise and integrity. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to working together to create a safe learning environment for everyone.

The Chester County School District is excited to announce Ms. April Morgan as the Assistant Administrator at Lewisville High School. Ms. Morgan is a passionate educator with an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from South Carolina State University.
Ms. Morgan began her career over 20 years ago and has since held various roles in education, including administrator, behavioral support specialist, resource teacher, and school-based counselor. She also worked as a special education teacher at the Great Falls High School, where she further developed her skills.
Ms. Morgan is known for her dedication to her profession and her commitment to the students and families she serves. She believes in the transformative power of education and strives to make a positive impact on each student’s life. Outside of her professional work, she is actively involved in her community through volunteer work and participation in public service and faith-based organizations.
The Chester County School District is also excited to announce that Dr. Tonya Campbell will be the new Principal at the Chester Park School of Inquiry!
Dr. Campbell is a familiar face in Chester County. She grew up here and graduated from Lewisville High School. For almost 20 years, she has worked in our District in various roles, including first and second-grade teacher, reading interventionist, and Literacy Coach at the Chester Park Center of Literacy through Technology. In 2017, she became the Assistant Principal of the School of Inquiry, where she has demonstrated her passion for education.
Dr. Campbell recently earned her Doctorate Degree in May 2024 from Gardner-Webb University. Now, she’s ready to lead the School of Inquiry as its new Principal. She is committed to providing a positive and nurturing environment that enhances student performance.
We are confident that under Dr. Campbell’s leadership, the School of Inquiry will continue to excel and make our District proud.
