Congratulations to0 Ms. Suzanne Hough on being named Interim Principal of Great Falls High School!
She has been a dedicated part of the CCSD family for the past 17 years in the roles of Teacher, Teacher Support Specialist, and Assistant Principal. We are confident she will continue to serve the students of Great Falls High with the utmost excellence! Congratulations, Ms. Hough!
Mrs. Stripling comes to Chester County with 10 years of experience in education.
Over the course of her career, she has served as a Classroom Teacher and Instructional Coach in Beaufort County, as well as an Academic Interventionist with Rock Hill Schools. She holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary & Middle-Level Education, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Stripling lives with her husband and two children in Rock Hill, and she is thrilled to work with the phenomenal students, staff, and families of Chester County.
Mrs. Elizabeth Bridges is thrilled to be joining Chester County School District as the Director of Literacy.
This is her 25th year as an educator in South Carolina. Prior to joining the CCSD team, she served for 12 years in Rock Hill Schools as a District Literacy Specialist. Elizabeth has also served as an Instructional Coach, Literacy Coach, and Classroom Teacher in York School District. In addition to her work in schools, Elizabeth has led Professional Development and taught graduate courses for teachers through Winthrop University and Converse College

Welcome to Dr. Rhonda Kelsey, who will be joining CCSD as Executive Director of Elementary Education!
Dr. Rhonda Kelsey is a graduate of Chester High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree in elementary education from the College of Charleston and her degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Kelsey earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Educational Policy from Drexel University. She has served in Chester County as a teacher and instructional coach before moving to Rock Hill School District, where she was an assistant principal for four years and has been a principal for ten years. Dr. Kelsey continues to live in Chester County with her husband Everett, and their two children.
She looks forward to returning home to serve the children of Chester County as the Executive Director of Elementary Education.

Mr. Padraic Hampton will be joining CCSD as Assistant Principal of Great Falls Elementary School!
Padraic Hampton was born and raised in Chester, South Carolina and is a 2009 graduate of Chester Senior High School. Mr. Hampton attended Virginia State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Special Education. He received a master's degree in Administration and Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Richmond. Padraic began his teaching career in Richmond Public Schools in Richmond, VA, where he taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. He also has experience working in Chesterfield County public schools where he taught 4th and 5th grades, and served as the Intersession Coordinator. He most recently served as Assistant Principal in Petersburg, VA.
Padraic now returns to Chester County School District to serve as the Assistant Principal at Great Falls Elementary. He believes that all children can learn and that educating the whole child is key to continued student success.

Let’s welcome Michelle Campbell as District Secondary Math Instructional Coach!
Michelle brings nearly 25 years of experience in education with a diverse background that will greatly benefit our district. She began her teaching career in middle school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg before moving on to teach a variety of high school courses and levels in Lancaster County and Rock Hill. Her experience extends to teaching math in alternative school settings and at York Technical College.
In the past, she had been involved in teaching and tutoring at Chester County's Adult Education. Her extensive experience and dedication to education make her a valuable addition to our school community.
