Please join us in congratulating Mr. Padraic D. Hampton on being selected as the new Principal of Great Falls Elementary School!

Padraic Hampton

Mr. Hampton was born and raised in Chester, South Carolina, and is a proud 2009 graduate of Chester Senior High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Virginia State University and a master’s degree in Administration, Leadership, and Policy Studies from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Hampton began his teaching career in Richmond Public Schools, where he taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. He later joined Chesterfield County Public Schools in Virginia, teaching 4th and 5th grades and serving as an Intersession Coordinator. Before returning to South Carolina, he served as an Assistant Principal in Petersburg, Virginia. Most recently, Mr. Hampton served as the Assistant Principal at Great Falls Elementary School.

Mr. Hampton firmly believes that all children can learn and that educating the whole child is essential to ensuring long-term student success.
