Mrs. Megan Jordan is honored and excited to serve as an Assistant Principal at Chester High School, a school that will always hold a special place in her heart. As a proud Chester High graduate and former student-athlete, Chester is more than just the community where she grew up; it is home.
For the past five years, Mrs. Jordan has served as an English teacher at Chester High School, primarily working with freshman and sophomore students. Throughout her time in education, she has been passionate about helping students grow not only academically, but also personally and emotionally. She has served in several leadership roles, including English Department Chair, district PLC lead, and mentor for beginning teachers. During the 2024–2025 school year, she was honored to be named Chester High School Teacher of the Year.
Growing up in Chester gives Mrs. Jordan a deep understanding of the students and families she now serves, and she believes every child deserves someone who believes in them, pushes them, and reminds them of their potential. She values building genuine relationships with students and families and believes schools are strongest when families feel supported and welcomed.
Mrs. Jordan’s philosophy is grounded in putting students first in every decision. She believes school should be a place where students feel supported but also prepared for the real world ahead of them. More than anything, she hopes to be a positive light for all and to help every student who walks through the doors of Chester High School unpack their purpose and know they are capable of success.
