In a world where technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, CCSD’s Information Technology team serves as the backbone of the district’s digital infrastructure. Whether troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining network security, supporting classroom technology, managing devices, or implementing new systems, these professionals play a vital role in ensuring students and staff have the tools and resources needed for success.
Collectively, the members of CCSD’s technology department have dedicated over 90 years of service to the district. Their commitment, expertise, and willingness to adapt to an ever-changing technological landscape have helped transform classrooms, expand learning opportunities, and improve communication and efficiency across Chester County School District.
For many members of the technology team, their work is about far more than computers, networks, and devices. It is about creating opportunities for students and helping shape their future. Curtis Martin, a member of CCSD’s technology department for three years, shared what motivates him most in his work:
“What I enjoy most is that I can impact a student's life without being a teacher or being in the classroom. I serve them by putting powerful tools in their hands that shape their learning and their future. Whatever they decide they want to become, I want to be part of what got them there.”
Martin’s perspective reflects the mission-driven approach of the entire technology team. From preparing thousands of devices before the school year begins to responding to urgent technical challenges throughout each day, CCSD’s IT professionals consistently demonstrate professionalism, innovation, and a servant-hearted commitment to supporting students, teachers, and staff.
