Empowering Parents as Partners! Be sure to join us online tomorrow evening from 6-7pm on Zoom or Facebook Live. See the flyer below for details.

DEADLINE IS TOMORROW!
The Chester County School District is inviting all county residents to participate in a survey to evaluate facility needs, consider preliminary, high-level solutions, and contribute feedback to guide our next steps in capital projects.
This anonymous survey will be accessible to the public until Sunday, March 24, 2024. The estimated time required to complete the survey is 5-10 minutes. Information from community members will be used by the district and later by the board members to evaluate solutions that meet community needs, are financially responsible, and move the district forward.
All of the data we collect will be presented to the Board in April, and from there, they will decide on whether the District pursues a bond referendum on the November election ballot or not. It is very IMPORTANT to participate in this public survey!
Residents can access the survey online at CCSDCapitalSurvey.org or scan the QR Code in the flyer below. Residents may also request a paper copy by contacting the school district office, or by visiting any one of our schools. Residents may also expect a postcard with information sent by mail this week.
We respect your time and want to emphasize the importance of your participation. If you have comments or questions, please contact the school district office.

March 15, 2024, is a Teacher Planning Day. There will be no school for students. Students will return on Monday, March 18th.
March 19, 2024, will be an Early Dismissal for students. For dismissal times visit: https://www.chester.k12.sc.us/page/arrival-and-dismissal-bell-times

The March meal menu is now available online at: https://tinyurl.com/CCSDMarchMeals24.
Please contact Student Nutrition Services if you have any questions.

ATTENTION: Chester County School District is operating on a normal schedule today. Schools are not dismissing early. Only afterschool activities have been canceled due to the weather.
In the event of any schedule changes or cancelations, the District will send out notifications directly to parents via email, text, and phone calls.
We apologize for any confusion caused by any news outlets that have reported otherwise.

Due to severe weather expected to impact our area tomorrow evening, all afterschool activities will be canceled. Please ensure a safe and timely pickup of your child after regular school hours. We will keep you updated on any further developments. Thank you for your cooperation.

Chester County School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, due to anticipated hazardous road conditions.
The primary concern is the safety of our students, faculty, and our bus drivers. This precautionary measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of everyone involved in the daily morning commute. Due to some impassable roads and power outages throughout the county, the delayed start time will allow for improved visibility and road conditions, minimizing potential risks, especially for our school buses.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your flexibility as we prioritize the well-being of our school community.

After receiving updated weather data for our area, out of an abundance of caution, Chester County School District will switch to an e-Learning Day on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Severe rainfall and heavy wind gusts in the area will have the potential to impact the safety of our school buses while transporting students.
All students should be reminded to take their devices home to complete assignments. We are asking that all teachers please prepare assignments for students to take home or work through Schoology. Because eLearning days are regular workdays and will not have to be made up, teachers should be available to students and parents during school day hours.
All other District staff members are asked to please work from home tomorrow. Normal CCSD operations will resume on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. We ask that everyone continue to monitor local news stations or CCSD social media for any updates and please remain safe.

CCSD is currently monitoring the inclement weather expected to impact our area Tuesday. No operational changes have been made at this time. The District will coordinate with Emergency Management, and announce the final decision this afternoon.
