Chester High School proudly announces Jerry Caldwell as its new Athletic Director. A 1995 graduate of Chester High School, Coach Caldwell was an All-State football standout and represented South Carolina in the Shrine Bowl. He continued his football career at Georgia Tech, where he was a four-year letterman and served as the permanent team captain of the 1998 ACC Co-Champion football team.
Coach Caldwell earned his bachelor’s degree in business, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and also earned his Juris Doctor (JD). For the past ten years, he has dedicated himself to coaching football at Chester High School and will continue his role as Defensive Coordinator for the Cyclones football program. He now steps into athletic leadership with a vision rooted in excellence, pride, and the strong tradition of Chester High School.
