ATTENTION: This is an update on how the Boil Water Advisory will impact school operations tomorrow.
Schools will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow but all water fountains will be sealed off. We confirmed with the Chester Metropolitan District that students and staff will be able to wash their hands with soap and utilize hand sanitizer during the day. Students will not be allowed to drink the water.
The district will deliver a few cases of bottled water to all school sites this afternoon but we are also asking parents to send a few bottles of water, if they choose with their children tomorrow.
Our Student Nutrition Staff Members have boil water advisory procedures in place in order to ensure the water is safe for preparing meals in all schools.
If you have any questions about water usage in our schools, please contact your child’s school in the morning.

Dear CHS Families,
Chester County School District (CCSD) is going through Cognia Accreditation this year. Accreditation occurs every five years and is a means of ensuring that our district continues to adhere to specific educational standards and policies. As a part of the process, we collect feedback from students, educators, and families using surveys. Your input is valuable and allows us to determine what we are doing well and areas in which we need to improve as a school and district. We will work together to review the results and plan action steps for continuous improvement.
Please use the link in the email you received to complete the Family Survey. All responses are anonymous. The survey will be open until October 6th.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach Mrs. Patton by phone at 803-377-3161 or by email at mpatton@chester.k12.sc.us.
Thank you in advance for helping us serve you and our students better.
