Natalie Daise, catalyst, artist, and originator of Gullah Gullah Island, a popular children's show on Nickelodeon & Nick Jr., sat with Gear Up student Tamari Rice and listened to his stories while he described his artwork. She was so impressed with Tamari that she personally mailed him art supplies so that he can continue developing his talent as a true artist.
