Chester Middle School wins 1st place in the Battle of the Books. They played against Lewisville and Great Falls Middle School. There were 2 rounds a discussion round and an individual buzzer round. The students answered questions based on 8 books they read. They were: New Kid by Jerry Craft, Class Act by Jerry Craft, Wild River by Roderick Fulbright, Serafina and the Black Cloak by Robert Beatty, Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston, 365 Days to Alaska by Cathy Carr, Linked by Gordon Korman, and Playing the Cards you've been dealt by Varian Johnson.
