CHESTER, S.C. — Chester County School District (CCSD) received a generous donation of school supplies from residents of the MUSC Nursing Home (Chester Branch) on Thursday afternoon.
Residents assembled 127 bags of school supplies for CCSD students. The supplies will be distributed among Chester Park Primary School, Chester Park Intermediate School, Great Falls Elementary School, and Lewisville Elementary School prior to the start of the school year on Monday, August 3, 2026.
“We would like to thank the residents for their support of Chester County Schools students,” said Superintendent Tammy Snipes. “At our district opening convocation yesterday, we spoke about being ‘Rooted in Chester County’ and ‘Growing Our Future Together.’ This generous donation puts those words into action and demonstrates the strong community spirit that helps our students succeed. We are truly grateful for their kindness and support.”
