Thank you to all who came to our Mentoring Matters Luncheon last Friday. We truly appreciate all those who take time out of their busy lives to mentor a COLT student, especially the staff and teachers who mentor students outside their classrooms.
A special thanks to Chester Wastewater Recovery, Mr. Carlos Wilks, AuntiE's Cup Gourmet
Catering, and T and T Treats for your contributions.

One Day Away from our 3rd-5th Grade Math Parent Day

Please be on the lookout for information regarding parent surveys. Individual codes were sent home on Monday. If you need another copy, we can send it home with your student. Each student will need a parent to complete a survey.
The first class, which had 100% completion, will have a pizza party, and each student with a completed parent survey can attend a school dance party. Each parent will be entered into a drawing for each completed survey.

Join us on March 17th for COLT Math March Madness for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade parents. Teachers and students will share strategies used in the classroom and make tools for home use.

REMINDER: Online registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year is OPEN! Please visit our website for additional information: https://tinyurl.com/4taw4ypz

Earlier this morning, a Tornado Warning was briefly issued in our area. All schools immediately activated emergency protocols for adverse weather. The Warning has now been lifted, and school operations will proceed as normal. A Tornado Watch has been issued for the Great Falls area.
All students are currently safe at school. CCSD will continue monitoring local weather conditions and send any updates as needed.
We ask that everyone continue to exercise caution as they are traveling throughout the day.

Chester County School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Thursday, January 23, 2025, as overnight freezing may continue to cause hazardous driving conditions during the morning hours, especially on rural routes and side roads. The change will give all morning commuters and our buses additional time and daylight to reach school safely.
Students who ride the bus should arrive at their stop two hours later than usual. Similarly, all students and staff should report to their school buildings two hours later than their regular time.
We ask that everyone please exercise caution on the roads. Students should also continue to dress warmly, as colder than usual temperatures will continue through the end of the week.
Thank you and stay safe!
