GFE Family Updates & Reminders
Dear GFE Families,
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this an amazing school year for our Dream Chasers! Please take a few moments to review these important updates and reminders.
Dress Code Reminder
Please ensure that students come to school each day dressed in accordance with the district and school dress code. We appreciate your partnership in helping our students arrive ready to learn and represent GFE with pride.
Updated Grading & Retake Policy
Families, please take time to review the updated grading and retake policy for this school year. Understanding these expectations will help you stay informed about your child's academic progress and the opportunities available for demonstrating mastery of grade-level standards.
Bus Expectations & Student Safety
Please speak with your child about the importance of following bus expectations each and every day. Students are expected to remain seated, follow the driver's directions, keep their hands and belongings to themselves, use appropriate language, and demonstrate respectful behavior.
Additionally, please regularly check your child's bookbag and remind them that unauthorized or inappropriate items should never be brought to school or onto the school bus. Student safety remains our highest priority, and we need everyone's partnership in keeping GFE safe.
Grits with Grandparents — September 10
We are excited to welcome our wonderful grandparents to GFE!

We look forward to celebrating the special role grandparents play in the lives of our Dream Chasers. More information will be shared as we get closer to the event.
We Need Parent Leaders — PTO & SIC!
We are still looking for parents and family members who are interested in serving as leaders with our PTO and School Improvement Council (SIC)!
Strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and we want our families to have a voice in the continued growth and success of Great Falls Elementary. Serving with PTO or SIC is a great opportunity to become more involved, share ideas, support school initiatives, and help us continue making GFE the best it can be for our students.
