Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and mother figures of GFE!
Yesterday we celebrated the love, support, sacrifices, and encouragement you provide to our students each and every day. Thank you for the important role you play in shaping the lives of our children and supporting our school community.
We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Mother’s Day filled with love and appreciation.
This week, students in grades 3–5 will continue taking the SC READY Assessments. Please help us set our students up for success by ensuring they arrive at school on time, get a good night’s rest, and come prepared to do their best each day.
SC READY Testing Schedule:
• Math — Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13
• Science (4th Grade Only) — Thursday, May 14
We also ask that you please speak with your child about bringing inappropriate or distracting items to school, such as squishies, toys, and similar items. These items disrupt the learning environment and are not permitted at school. Any inappropriate items brought to school will be confiscated, and a parent or guardian will be required to pick them up.
