Today, we want to give a special thank-you to our School Resource Officer, Officer Stinson, for all she does to help keep our school safe! We are so grateful for her dedication, kindness, and the care she shows our students and staff each and every day.
Her friendly smile, welcoming personality, and reassuring presence have a way of making everyone feel safe and cared for. We appreciate the many ways she goes above and beyond to protect our school community and be there when we need her.
Thank you, Officer Stinson, for everything you do! We are so lucky to have you as part of our school family!
As educators, we recognize the importance of preserving the lessons of that day for future generations. 🎨✨ Exciting things are happening in the GFE art studio! Our first and second graders have been busy creating their very own “cool” cupcakes, inspired by the incredible artist Wayne Thiebaud.
Throughout the project, they explored the vibrant world of cool colors on the color wheel, allowing their imaginations to take flight as they made their own artistic decisions. Each cupcake is a unique expression of their creativity and understanding of color!
Creativity is essential for young minds; it fosters problem-solving skills, boosts confidence, and encourages self-expression.

Girls On The Run is back at GFE and we are so excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our 3rd-5th grade girls this year. Please see the attached flyer for more information and to sign up. Registration will open next week starting on Monday 8/24, but hurry because spots are limited!
Our practices will be Wednesdays & Thursdays from 3:00-4:30pm starting the week of Sept. 14th.

This week, the Chester County School District successfully completed required lockdown drills at each school. These drills help ensure our students and staff are prepared and confident in emergency procedures.
CCSD extends its sincere gratitude to the Chester County Sheriff's Office for their partnership in conducting these drills, participating debriefing discussions, and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and schools.
Together, we are working to maintain safe, secure learning environments for all.
