Gentle reminder - if your child is a car rider - please be sure that if you bring him/her to school after 8:00 am - you must bring him/her to the office. Students cannot be dropped off in the car line - because this is a HUGE safety issue...as no adults are assigned to that area after 8:00 am.

Hello Great Falls Elementary Families. I hope that everyone has had a GREAT week...and hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. We had another amazing week at GFE! Thank you to each of you who have been taking advantage of morning tutoring. If you are interested in your child attending, please be sure that your child is at school by 7:15 am. We are providing tutoring for ALL interested students in second through fifth grades.
Please be sure to sign up for a parent conference with your child's teacher for October 21st - Parent Conference/Open House Night. Your child’s teacher(s) may have different dates for conferences that they are offering, as well.
The Character Word of the Month for October is KIND. Kind means to be generous, helpful, and considerate – and is very easily modeled - just like respect. Please help us to reinforce the character word at home.

Dear Great Falls Elementary Families,
Happy September!
As we settle into the rhythm of a new school year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for helping us launch the 2025–2026 school year with such positivity and success. Your support, encouragement, and partnership have made the opening of school truly special, and we are so grateful for the energy and enthusiasm you bring to our GFE community.
We are already seeing promising results from our beginning-of-year assessments, including MAP Testing. These early indicators show that our students are in a strong place academically—and we are excited about the limitless possibilities this year holds!
Please continue to share information about upcoming school events with your extended family and community members. Your help in spreading the word ensures that everyone stays informed and involved in the life of our school.
Thank you for always standing with us, believing in our mission, and supporting our students and staff. We are looking forward to an amazing year filled with growth, joy, and excellence.
With Genuine Gratitude,
Dr. Tamara Taylor
