I am originally from Summerville, SC.  I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I also graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master's in Library and Information Science.  I've been teaching for 31 years--7.5 as a classroom teacher and 23 as Library Media Specialist.

You can usually find me reading or doing something active outside.  I also love to travel and spend time with my family.  We have three cats who think they are human.

I was born in California and raised in South Carolina. I am married and we have 2 adult children and 2 grand-dogs, Candi and Haul and they are a bit spoiled.

I’ve worked in education for 22 years –11 years as a library assistant, 8 years in Kindergarten, and 3 years in a reading program called, S.A.I.L.

I enjoy spending time with family and thinking of new and creative displays for the library.
