As part of National Career Development Week, Ms. Hughes (School Counselor) hosted a “Career Cafe” featuring Mr. George Tucker. Mr. Tucker is a Senior Environmental Engineer with OceanaGold Corporation. Our 5th grade students learned all about the company, his job duties, the education/training required for his job, and related careers all while being served muffins and juice. (If you or someone you know would like to share his/her career with our Shining Stars, please reach out to Ms. Hughes at sihughes@chester.k12.sc.us .)

Please see the flyer for Book Fair times next week.

In honor of Veterans Day this week, our PreK and Kindergarteners painted shapes using red and blue.
