Yesterday, Dr. Campbell welcomed our Shining Stars back with a schoolwide assembly! She reminded students of our expectations, emphasized the power of positive thoughts and actions, and connected our message to *The Energy Bus*. 🚍✨
Students even participated in a few fun trivia questions as we kicked off the new semester with energy and excitement. We’re looking forward to a fantastic stretch ahead filled with positivity, learning, and success!

Students engaged in various Ecosystems found throughout the world. Students were assigned either Grassland, Tundra, Savannah, Forest, Ocean, or Rainforest as their ecosystem to research. Students researched and found important items about their ecosystem and had to recreate their ecosystem in the form of a diorama. Students presented to their classmates about the research they complete about their ecosystem.

5th grade made candy salad! They then used the weights of the candy to multiply and add. Finally they wrapped up the unit with using division of decimals to find out how many ounces of candy each student gets. They had so much fun!
