📢Enrollment has started for the 2025-2026 school year! ALL STUDENTS, new and returning, must register using the online platform. Please follow the steps below to register your new or returning student.📢

⭐️Pick "New Student Enrollment" if your student has never attended our school or attended but has moved out of our district and will be coming back.
⭐️Pick "Returning Student Validation" if your student finished out the year at our school.
⭐️For new students, you will click “Enroll your new students for the 2025-2026 school year!”
⭐️For returning students, you will click “New Account” and set up a new account to register.
Today we celebrated our amazing administrative professionals!
Although Administrative Professionals Day was officially on April 23 while we were on spring break, we made sure to show our appreciation today with gift cards, snack baskets, and lunch. We are so grateful for everything they do to keep us running smoothly!

🎉 Teacher Appreciation Week is happening next week, May 5th–9th. Let’s show some love to our incredible faculty and staff for all they do!

⭐️SC Ready Testing Surprise - Grades 3-5⭐️
SC Ready testing is quickly approaching! We want to provide extra encouragement for our students because we know this can be a stressful time. We sent home notecards with students on Tuesday and a letter encouraging families to write a note of encouragement for their child. If you did not send your notecard back this week, please send those in by Monday, April 28th. We want to ensure all students have a special note the first morning of testing. Remember this will be a surprise for students so please seal the envelope and have students turn it into the Inquiry office. We will deliver notes to classrooms on the first day of testing.

As the year winds down, we want to pause and recognize the special adults in our students' lives. We understand it takes a village to support them and we simply want to say "THANK YOU"! Students are invited to bring parents, grandparents, or special adults to this event (up to 3 family members per family). Use the QR code below or paper form (that will go home this week) to RSVP.

Superintendent Dr. Sutton made storytime extra special for National School Library Week by visiting every elementary school in the district to read to students! By sharing stories and sparking imagination, he hopes to inspire children to have a lifelong love of reading.

⭐️Nothing Bundt Cakes⭐️
Congratulations to Caleb Barnette for winning $100 in our Nothing Bundt Cakes random prize drawing!
Bundt cakes will be ready to pick-up on Wednesday, April 9th from 8am-2pm. Our school sold a total of 1,429 bundt cakes! Thank you for making this fundraiser a success!

During the family nights in March parents were asked to complete a state department survey on the school climate. Those parents who completed the survey on those nights were entered for a chance to win an IPad. Congratulations to our winning Shining Stars!!
DATE REMINDERS: April 8, 2025, will be an Early Dismissal day for students for staff collaboration and planning across the district. All school dismissal times are available on our website.
Spring Break will be April 21 - 25, 2025. All CCSD Facilities will be CLOSED. Students and staff will return on Monday, April 28, 2025.
Our GITI Math and Science Club recently designed and built a model of a fully sustained "smart city" using 3D printing and other materials.
