SC READY testing begins this week for our amazing students in grades 3–5. We know this can sometimes feel a little stressful, so we truly appreciate your support in cheering your child on each day.
To help them shine, please make sure they arrive to school on time each morning and start the day with a healthy breakfast, either at home or at school. We also kindly ask that you avoid signing them out early so they have plenty of time to finish their test.
Thank you for being their biggest cheerleader 💛— reminding them to take their time, stay focused, and show what they know.
Each day, we’ll also be providing a small treat, peppermints, and bottled water to help keep students comfortable, calm, and ready to do their very best.
We kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week in the sweetest way—with delicious Lil’ Orbits donuts for our amazing staff! A big thank you to Gaston, Marion, Stubbs, Hunter, & Swancy for your generous donation and support of our teachers. 🍩
We also celebrated our incredible cafeteria team for School Lunch Hero Day with a special donut treat—thank you for all you do each day!
Students who scored on grade level on the spring Reading or Math MAP assessments were rewarded with donuts as well—way to go!
It was a busy and exciting day as we wrapped up our schoolwide Energy Bus celebration with bubbles and Icees. Such a fun way to celebrate positivity and teamwork across our campus! 🚌✨
Congratulations to the CHS Class of 2026! Today was extra special as our 5th graders walked the halls as the final 5th grade class at the School of Inquiry. We are incredibly proud of all our graduates and wish them nothing but the best on their journeys ahead.

Star Students are chosen by teachers based on displaying the Life Skill(s) of the month and/or their positive approach to academics, interactions with others, and/or behavior. These students will receive prizes and be featured on our digital sign outside of the school and Star Student of the Month bulletin board. They will also be recognized with a certificate at our next Awards Program.

Inquiry Student Council celebrated Autism Awareness Month by hosting a special “training day” for our exceptional children as they prepare for the Special Olympics. Students participated in activities focused on building skills like tossing, throwing, and running. It was a meaningful experience that promoted inclusivity, understanding, and connection among all students. Good Luck Shining Stars 🌟🩵💙.

Our Sunshine Club organized a fun staff social today—Dip Out for Spring Break! ☀️🕶️ It was a great time to laugh, enjoy yummy food, and kick off the break together. Wishing everyone a happy and well-deserved Spring Break!
Today, teachers finished their year long book study on The Energy Bus. Today was the finale with a paint and sip vibe. Teacher’s had the opportunity to paint a memory from the book to rise with them for years to come. Dr. Campbell also gave each teacher a small token, a small energy bus charm, to take with them wherever they go to remind them to fuel their ride with positive energy!!
