The National Weather Service has given an update predicting potentially dangerous weather conditions in the morning due to the storm including flooding and winds up to 30mph. These conditions make it hazardous for our buses to operate while transporting students.
For the safety of our school community, the Chester County School District will move to an eLearning day on Thursday, August 8, 2024. All after-school activities and athletic events scheduled for Thursday will also be canceled.
Teachers will be available during normal school hours via email to provide support as needed. All District staff members are also asked to work remotely. We will continue to monitor the situation and send an update regarding operations for Friday.

In preparation for a possible e-learning day, we ask that all parents please remind your children to carry home any necessary items or learning devices over the next several days.
The safety of our students, school buses, and staff traveling on the roads during potentially hazardous conditions remains a priority. Please continue to check our social media, or website for any updates. Also, the District will send out direct communications via phone, text, and email.

⭐️Drop Off and Pick Up Information⭐️
The Inquiry carline WILL be open tomorrow for drop off and pick up. To allow construction crews to continue working on our parking lot, the Inquiry entrance will close at 8:30am and will reopen for dismissal.
Students may be dropped off at 7:15am. To ensure supervision, please do NOT let your child out of the car before 7:15am.
If you need to stop by the school after 8:30am, please enter through the COLT or Arts office and they will direct you from there.

We are excited to see our shining stars this week for Meet the Teacher and the first day of school!
A few important reminders:
⭐️We strongly encourage registering online prior to Meet the Teacher. New and returning students must be registered before class assignments may be given.
⭐️Our district requires two proofs of residency when registering. These may be uploaded online using the registration link or hard copies may be brought in.
⭐️The technology fee of $30 may be paid at Meet the Teacher. We do not have a card reader so please bring cash or check for tech fees.
⭐️We are getting a beautiful new parking lot this year. Construction crews have been working hard in the heat to have our parking lot ready for the start of school. Please be patient and mindful of the construction.
⭐️The first day of school is August 1st. PreK and Kindergarten students have staggered start dates. Please refer to the letter provided by your child's teacher for their start date.
