This week, the Chester County School District successfully completed required lockdown drills at each school. These drills help ensure our students and staff are prepared and confident in emergency procedures.
CCSD extends its sincere gratitude to the Chester County Sheriff's Office for their partnership in conducting these drills, participating debriefing discussions, and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and schools.
Together, we are working to maintain safe, secure learning environments for all.

In consultation with each of our three high schools, admission prices have been standardized across all schools. The following ticket prices will be charged for athletic events at each high school:
Varsity Football: $10
All Other Sports: $8
Spectators attending athletic events may purchase tickets online through GoFan or pay with cash at the gate. Please note that an online processing fee applies to tickets purchased through GoFan.
Admission prices for middle school athletic events will remain unchanged.
We thank you for your support of Chester County School District student-athletes and look forward to a great year of competition for all.

Please be advised that over the next three days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 18-20, Chester County School District will conduct required lockdown drills at each of our schools. During these drills, you may notice an increased law enforcement presence on campus.
These drills are part of our safety and security procedures and are designed to help students and staff understand what to do in the event of an actual emergency requiring a lockdown. State requirements call for schools to conduct two lockdown drills each year.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority, and these drills help ensure that everyone is prepared should an emergency occur.
Thank you for your support and understanding.

***UPDATE*** Service has been restored to the Chester County School District phone lines.
Chester County School District wants to make families aware that phone lines at our schools are currently experiencing an outage. Our Technology Department is actively working with our service provider, TruVista, to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore service.
We will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

Convocation was a blast!

Juneteenth is both a celebration of freedom and a reminder of the ongoing work toward equity, understanding, and justice for all. It is a time to reflect on the past, honor the resilience of those who endured, and recommit ourselves to building communities rooted in dignity and opportunity.
We encourage everyone to take time today to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about history and progress as we continue working toward a more inclusive future for all.

The purpose of the board members’ meeting at the district office is to ride together with district-level administrators on a school district bus to the three high school graduation ceremonies. The bus will depart from the school district office, traveling to the graduations at Great Falls High School, Chester High School, and Lewisville High School, and returning to the district office.
There will be no district business discussed during the trip.

In accordance with district policy, the individual in question has been placed on administrative leave. As part of the process, CCSD will conduct its own internal investigation parallel to law enforcement.
Due to the active investigation and privacy considerations related to a personnel matter involving a criminal charge, the District will not make additional comments at this time. Any additional questions regarding the criminal investigation will be directed to the Rock Hill Police Department.
We understand that this situation is concerning to our staff, families, and community. The safety of our schools remains a top priority and the District takes matters of this nature seriously.

Ceremony times are as follows:
Great Falls High - 8 a.m.
Chester High - 9:30 a.m.
Lewisville High - 11:30 a.m.
Families and community members can access live broadcasts of each ceremony directly on the District’s main Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/ChesterCountySchools. Recordings of each ceremony will also be available on YouTube at a later date.
Please contact your child’s school with any questions or concerns. We look forward to celebrating this incredible milestone for our students!

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Congratulations to Dr. Clarissa Jones for being named new AP of Great Falls Elementary School, and Ms. Megan Jordan for being named new AP of Chester High School.
