CHESTER, S.C. -- As we prepare for the first regular-season Friday night of the school year, Chester County School District (CCSD) reminds all visitors attending athletic contests that the district maintains a clear bag policy for all athletic events.
In consultation with each of our three high schools, admission prices have been standardized across all schools. The following ticket prices will be charged for athletic events at each high school:
Varsity Football: $10
All Other Sports: $8
Spectators attending athletic events may purchase tickets online through GoFan or pay with cash at the gate. Please note that an online processing fee applies to tickets purchased through GoFan.

Please be advised that over the next three days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 18-20, Chester County School District will conduct required lockdown drills at each of our schools. During these drills, you may notice an increased law enforcement presence on campus.
These drills are part of our safety and security procedures and are designed to help students and staff understand what to do in the event of an actual emergency requiring a lockdown. State requirements call for schools to conduct two lockdown drills each year.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority, and these drills help ensure that everyone is prepared should an emergency occur.

Members of Chester County Board of School Trustees will meet at the school district office on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The purpose of the board members’ meeting at the district office is to ride together with district-level administrators on a school district bus to the three high school graduation ceremonies. The bus will depart from the school district office, traveling to the graduations at Great Falls High School, Chester High School, and Lewisville High School, and returning to the district office.
There will be no district business discussed during the trip.

The Chester County School District has been made aware of the arrest of a Lewisville Middle School teacher yesterday evening in Rock Hill, SC. The District will follow all protocols regarding incidents of this nature and is in full cooperation with law enforcement officials. The District can confirm the incident occurred off-site and away from school facilities, and there is no indication that any CCSD student was involved.
In accordance with district policy, the individual in question has been placed on administrative leave. As part of the process, CCSD will conduct its own internal investigation parallel to law enforcement.
Due to the active investigation and privacy considerations related to a personnel matter involving a criminal charge, the District will not make additional comments at this time. Any additional questions regarding the criminal investigation will be directed to the Rock Hill Police Department.
We understand that this situation is concerning to our staff, families, and community. The safety of our schools remains a top priority and the District takes matters of this nature seriously.

Reminder that all CCSD facilities will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Normal district operations will resume on Tuesday.
