It was amazing to see students, families, staff, and community members come together to celebrate the new CHS Head Football Coach, Jerry Caldwell. Coach Caldwell was able to answer questions and share his goals for the future of the football program. The energy and support shown at the event reflect the great pride and traditions of our school district community.
Read Across America Day celebrates the joy, imagination, and opportunity that reading brings to our students. Reading opens doors to new ideas, strengthens literacy skills, and helps students build confidence both in and out of the classroom. Thank you to our teachers, librarians, staff, and families for inspiring a love of reading every day. Let’s continue to encourage our students to explore, imagine, and grow, one book at a time.
This week, we celebrate National School Breakfast Week and the important role a healthy breakfast plays in student success. Eating breakfast helps students start the day focused, energized, and ready to learn. Thanks to our dedicated nutrition services staff, our students are served nutritious, balanced breakfasts each morning. Thank you!

The Spring Intersession week for Chester County School District students will take place February 17–20, 2026. Academic support will be offered for elementary, middle, and high school students on February 17–19, 2026. Schools have sent permission letters home with students who have been selected to participate. Only students who receive and return a signed permission letter should plan to attend school for academic support during intersession.
The academic support schedule for elementary students will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Middle and high school students will attend from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided at no cost. Schools will share transportation details directly with families of students who will be riding the bus. Please contact your child’s school with any questions.

All CCSD schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, to ensure the safety of buses and early-morning travelers. Students who ride the bus should report to their stops two hours later than usual. Parents who drop their students off should also arrive at school two hours later than normal.
