Our schools proudly hosted the CCSD JROTC Cadet Ball last weekend, bringing together cadets, families, instructors, and community members for an evening that honored leadership, service, and tradition.

The event highlighted the discipline, respect, and commitment demonstrated by our cadets throughout the year. The evening served as a meaningful reminder of the values JROTC instills in students: character, citizenship, and responsibility.

We extend our appreciation to our JROTC instructors, school leaders, families, and community partners who helped make this special evening a success. Most importantly, we commend our cadets for representing their schools and district with pride and professionalism.

During last night's special-called board meeting, the Chester County Board of School Trustees voted unanimously to make Interim Superintendent, Mrs. Tammy Snipes, the new official Superintendent of Schools, effective immediately.

"I am so honored to be chosen as the Superintendent of Chester County School District," Snipes said. "This is my home, the place where I got my start as a student, a teacher, and a building administrator. Leadership is a responsibility, not a title, and I am committed to continuing to serve with integrity, vision, and heart."

Congratulations to Mrs. Snipes! We look forward to her continued leadership and dedication to the students of Chester County!
