Chester County School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, due to anticipated hazardous road conditions.
The primary concern is the safety of our students, faculty, and our bus drivers. This precautionary measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of everyone involved in the daily morning commute. Due to some impassable roads and power outages throughout the county, the delayed start time will allow for improved visibility and road conditions, minimizing potential risks, especially for our school buses.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your flexibility as we prioritize the well-being of our school community.

After receiving updated weather data for our area, out of an abundance of caution, Chester County School District will switch to an e-Learning Day on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Severe rainfall and heavy wind gusts in the area will have the potential to impact the safety of our school buses while transporting students.
All students should be reminded to take their devices home to complete assignments. We are asking that all teachers please prepare assignments for students to take home or work through Schoology. Because eLearning days are regular workdays and will not have to be made up, teachers should be available to students and parents during school day hours.
All other District staff members are asked to please work from home tomorrow. Normal CCSD operations will resume on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. We ask that everyone continue to monitor local news stations or CCSD social media for any updates and please remain safe.

CCSD is currently monitoring the inclement weather expected to impact our area Tuesday. No operational changes have been made at this time. The District will coordinate with Emergency Management, and announce the final decision this afternoon.

Congratulations to Ms. Patrice Davis of The Learning Center for being the Support Staff of the Month for October 2023!
She works daily with students to develop the skills needed to not only be successful upon their transition back to their home school but also in life. Mrs. Davis continually works to build a trusting relationship with each student in the program and has become a true support system for many of our students.
Thank You, Mrs. Davis, not just for being such an important part of the TLC program, but for being such an outstanding role model and champion for our students
