Reminder: Tuesday, November 7, 2023, will be an Early Dismissal Day for students. Dismissal times are as follows:
Elementary: 11:45 AM
Middle: 12:30 PM
High: 12:45 PM

Fourth grade students, Dewayne' Worthy and Aaron Chaney, are creating Leaf Batik pieces of art in Mrs. Boyd's art class at Chester Park COLT. The batik process includes observing and contour drawing leaves, then draw over the leaves with glue which will resist the paint in the final step of the process.
The students are having fun games during their Resource ELA Class. Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.

All Second Graders at COLT will be taking the CogAT and ITBS screeners October 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, and 25th. It is important that all second graders are at school for all five days of the assessments. A letter has gone home this week to all second graders with more information.
