Mrs. Jordan’s afternoon enrichment group had a blast today as they explored how to find the area of triangles through an exciting gallery wall activity! ✨📐
Our students loved moving around, collaborating, and applying their math skills in a creative way. Proud of their hard work and enthusiasm! 💛📚🌼

Since School Resource Officer Appreciation Day was on February 15, 2026, and we were out on Spring Intersession, we want to make sure we take time now to show our appreciation for Officer Threatt!
In addition to keeping our school safe each and every day, Officer Threatt also does an amazing job leading our Flag Patrol. Here he is with a couple of his flag patrol students—proud, responsible, and learning from one of the best!

At LES, we’re grateful for the caring community that makes our school such a special place. Thank you for spreading joy not just today, but every day! ❤️🌟

Happy Valentine’s Day, LES family!

"We learned about Self-Control and how to manage our emotions using the following strategies:
Take Deep Breaths
Take a meta moment to imagine your best self
Count to 10
Walk Away
Let it go
Talk it out
We learned the difference between someone being rude and bullying. Bullying is when someone is purposefully mean over and over even after you have used strategies to ask them to stop. When bullying occurs, there is an imbalance of power (the person is bigger, older, or meaner) and you are genuinely afraid of them.
Strategies to use for a bullying situation:
Get help from your teacher or another adult supervising you.
Tell what strategies you have tried.
Tell how often it happens, when it happens, and where it happens."
-Mrs. Angie
