🧠✨ LES Weekly Learning Spotlight! ✨🧠
Beginning this week at Lewisville Elementary, we will challenge our students with a Schoolwide Math Problem(s) and introduce a Vocabulary Word of the Week to build critical thinking and language skills across all grade levels!
📊 Math Problem of the Week: Encourages problem-solving, reasoning, and collaboration.
📚 Vocabulary Word of the Week: Expands vocabulary and strengthens communication skills.
Student Recognition: Each Monday, we’ll celebrate, based on the previous week’s participation:
Math Student of the Week (1 from PreK–2 and 1 from Grades 3–5)
To be entered for Math, students must give a teacher or staff member the correct answer to the weekly problem.
Vocabulary Student of the Week
For Vocabulary, any adult can nominate a student who uses the word correctly in conversation.
All participating students will be entered into a drawing and drawn on Mondays.
We love seeing our students rise to the challenge and grow as learners! 💙
Be sure to ask your child about this week’s problem and word—they might just teach you something new!
