The students participated in some fun "spring flower"-themed motor activities today. We pretended to be seeds that started small and grew into tall flowers with sun and rain. We carried flowers across the balance beam to plant. Finally, we made hand-printed flowers, practicing cutting, gluing, and painting. We were grateful to have special visitors providing extra hands!

Third grade received the caterpillars to help us bring to life the science standards based on animal life cycles.  We tracked their growth and progress over the weeks until they went through the final stage of metamorphosis and became butterflies. Today they released the butterflies.
