Here are a few important reminders to help make the first day of the 2025–2026 school year a great one:
✅ Morning Drop-Off: Students may be dropped off in the AM car rider line starting at 7:15 AM.
🍽️ Breakfast: Free for all students! Breakfast service ends at 7:45 AM, so please make sure your child arrives in time.
🕝 Dismissal: School ends at 2:30 PM.

👣 Kindergarten parents may walk their child to class on their first two days of school to help ease those first-day jitters. After that, our little learners will begin walking in on their own like the confident students they are!

Let’s show our patriotic pride—students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue as they walk in independently and celebrate together!

We’re so excited to kick off the school year next week with our newest little learners! 🌟
The first week of school will be all about getting our toes wet and getting to know one another in a fun, relaxed setting. To help ease the transition, your child will attend only two days in a smaller group:
👫 Group A: Monday 8/4/25 & Tuesday 8/5/25
👬 Group B: Wednesday 8/6/25 & Thursday 8/7/25
🎒 Then on Friday, 8/8/25, all kindergartners will come together for a full day of fun!

Back-to-School season is just around the corner, and here are some important upcoming dates and reminders:
Secondary Student and Family Orientation will be held at each middle and high school on July 21, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on July 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Families will be able to register in person, pay any outstanding fees, and receive other pertinent information for the upcoming school year.
Our district-wide Meet the Teacher event will occur on July 31, 2025, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., and August 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Please get in touch with your child's school for additional information.
Join CCSD on Facebook Live for our Back-to-School 2025 Virtual Town Hall! Dr. Sutton and Senior Leadership will share updates on a variety of school-related topics and answer live questions from the community. The broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Attention LES students and parents! Field Day is just around the corner, and we can't wait for all the fun activities planned. 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Please make sure students dress in comfy clothes and wear tennis shoes for all the running and games. Also, don't forget to bring a water bottle, a towel, and extra clothes to change into after the water stations. 🌊👕 Other optional items are sunscreen or a hat if your child needs these items.
