📚❤️ What a Wonderful Day at LES! ❤️📚
Our hearts are full after such a special visit from the LHS Mental Health & Wellness Club, SPEAK OUT!
On May 15, SPEAK OUT students joined us during their Flex period to spend time reading with our LES students—and it was an incredible success! Classrooms were filled with smiles, laughter, and the joy of reading as our elementary students connected with these amazing high school role models.
This meaningful experience not only encouraged a love of books, but also helped promote positive relationships and mental wellness through kindness, connection, and shared moments.
A huge thank you to the SPEAK OUT members for their time, energy, and heart, and to Mrs. Stone for supporting this wonderful opportunity. We are so grateful for partnerships like this that make a lasting impact on our students! 💙

🎉 April Math & Reading Challenge Celebrations! 🎉 Our students worked hard all month long, and we wrapped up our final Math & Reading Challenge of the school year with an amazing outdoor celebration! 📚➕🌞 Students enjoyed extra recess, where they played games, and enjoyed this amazing weather outside in the sun. The playground was full of laughter, teamwork, and sunshine! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎨💨 Every student also received a sweet animal stuffie arm‑band prize, which was a huge hit! 🐻🦊🐼✨ We are so proud of our students and the effort they put into the April challenge and all the challenges this year! They had an absolute blast celebrating their hard work! ❤️🙌 Although this was our last challenge of the school year, parents and students should be on the lookout for our June and July Summer Math and Reading Challenges heading home next week!! ☀️📚🌴 Way to go, LES students! ⭐👏

Today was an adventure on the high seas of reading as our students set sail with the My O6 Library Program! 📚✨
The new wing common area was filled with excitement as 5K students explored their very own “book fair,” choosing high-quality, just-right books to build their at-home libraries and keep the love of reading going all summer long. 🌞📖
A special ARRR-mazing THANK YOU to our guest reader, Pirate Hillis (Heather Hillis), who brought stories to life and helped inspire our young readers to treasure books like true pirates! 🏝️☠️

Tomorrow is SC Ready Testing Day 1. This test will be the Writing portion. Parents of 3rd-5th grade students, please help your students with:
Getting Ready………
Get plenty of sleep the night before the test.
Eat a healthy breakfast. This will give your brain the energy it needs to do your very best.
Come to school on time (by 8:00 AM).
Students with 100% attendance on all test days will receive a special treat!!
Come to school with the tools that you need…. Do you need your glasses or medication?
Have a positive attitude!

We know our students are going to Rock this Test!!
