South Carolina College-and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY)
The South Carolina College-and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY) are statewide assessments in English language arts (ELA), mathematics, and science (4th grade only). All students in grades 3–8 are required to take the SC READY. SC READY assessments will be administered in a computer-based format. This assessment will be administered in May. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is present to test with their class.
Dates:
ELA Day 1—May 6;
Math—May 7;
ELA Day 2—May 13;
ELA Day 3—May 14;
Science (4th Only) - May 15.

LES Parents are Invited to join us for the LES Book Character Parade in celebration of Read Across America Week
When: Friday March 7, 2025 Enter at the Bell Tower 8: 10am-8:30am
Parade starts at 8:30am
Parents are asked to enter through the Bell Tower between the times of 8:10am-8:30am. The doors will be closed at 8:30am for the parade. Parents will be able to view the parade from the Cafeteria. Instruction will begin immediately following the parade. Parents will not go to the classrooms.
*****ONLY students dressed up will participate in the parade.
*****We would LOVE for LES to have 100% participation in the parade.

LES SPIRIT FRIDAY WINNERS!!! Here are our February Spirit Friday winners: Ms. Terry and Ms. Patterson's Pre-K class, Ms. Allen, Mrs. Ligon and Ms. Turney's 5K class, Mrs. Knox's 1st Grade class, Mr. Ryan Ganitano's 2nd Grade Class, Mrs. Weir and Mr. Eckert's 3rd Grade class, Mr. Proveaux's 4th Grade class, and Mrs. Glenn's 5th Grade class. Congratulations to our winners; they sure know how to show school spirit!! A special congratulations goes out to Mrs. Weir and Mr. Eckert's class as well as Mr. Ryan Ganitano's class as both of these classes had 100% participation in today's SPIRIT FRIDAY!!!! Way to go amazing LES Lions!!
