The Amazing Mrs. Angie is really doing an amazing job with our LES students. See what she did with Mrs. King's 2nd Grade class this week.

"We learned about Self-Control and how to manage our emotions using the following strategies:
Take Deep Breaths
Take a meta moment to imagine your best self
Count to 10
Walk Away
Let it go
Talk it out

We learned the difference between someone being rude and bullying. Bullying is when someone is purposefully mean over and over even after you have used strategies to ask them to stop. When bullying occurs, there is an imbalance of power (the person is bigger, older, or meaner) and you are genuinely afraid of them.
Strategies to use for a bullying situation:
Get help from your teacher or another adult supervising you.
Tell what strategies you have tried.
Tell how often it happens, when it happens, and where it happens."

Chester County School District will operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Chester County Emergency Management has evaluated road conditions throughout the county and did not identify any significant ice accumulation. At this time, there is no indication of hazardous conditions for morning travel. We encourage students, families, and staff to continue to use caution when traveling, as isolated patches of ice may still be present in some areas.

eLearning Day on Tuesday, January 27,2026!!! Below-freezing temperatures overnight and ice-covered secondary roads in parts of the county will continue to create hazardous driving conditions for our families, staff, and buses. Out of an abundance of caution, all CCSD facilities will transition to an eLearning day on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Students and families are asked to coordinate with teachers regarding assignments for the day.
