As we observe Memorial Day, LES will be closed tomorrow to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🕊️
Let's take this time to reflect on their courage and dedication and express our gratitude for their service. We hope everyone has a meaningful and restful day.

Attention LES students and parents! Field Day is just around the corner, and we can't wait for all the fun activities planned. 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Please make sure students dress in comfy clothes and wear tennis shoes for all the running and games. Also, don't forget to bring a water bottle, a towel, and extra clothes to change into after the water stations. 🌊👕 Other optional items are sunscreen or a hat if your child needs these items.

The LES fourth nine-weeks Awards Programs will be TOMORROW, Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Parents are welcome to attend. Do not come in through the front office; please pull around to the back and come in through the bell tower entrance.
The schedule is as follows:
4th grade - 8:15 am
2nd grade - 9:00 am.
3rd grade - 9:45 am.
These will NOT be live-streamed. However, they will be recorded and uploaded to the LES Facebook later in the day.

Tomorrow is SC Ready Testing Day 1. This test will be the Writing portion. Parents of 3rd-5th grade students, please help your students with:
Getting Ready………
Get plenty of sleep the night before the test.
Eat a healthy breakfast. This will give your brain the energy it needs to do your very best.
Come to school on time (by 8:00 AM).
Students with 100% attendance on all test days will receive a special treat!!
Come to school with the tools that you need…. Do you need your glasses or medication?
Have a positive attitude!
We know our students are going to Rock this Test!!
