ATTENTION: This is an update on how the Boil Water Advisory will impact school operations tomorrow.
Schools will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow but all water fountains will be sealed off. We confirmed with the Chester Metropolitan District that students and staff will be able to wash their hands with soap and utilize hand sanitizer during the day. Students will not be allowed to drink the water.
The district will deliver a few cases of bottled water to all school sites this afternoon but we are also asking parents to send a few bottles of water, if they choose with their children tomorrow.
Our Student Nutrition Staff Members have boil water advisory procedures in place in order to ensure the water is safe for preparing meals in all schools.
If you have any questions about water usage in our schools, please contact your child’s school in the morning.

Congratulations to Ms. Theresa Means of Chester Park Elementary for being the Support Staff Spotlight for the month of September!
Ms. Means served CCSD for 38 years. As a media specialist, her favorite part about her job is sharing her love of books and reading to children. She sometimes finds it difficult to find common ground with younger generations, but she is always there to listen and support them. She reminds her students, "Don't compare yourself to others, do you! Be respectful to yourself and to others. Try hard to do the right thing."
Thank you for all you do for our students Ms. Means! #ForwardTogetherforStudentSuccess
