ROARy the Scout Elf Sighting
It was brought to my attention today that it is VERY possible that ROARy will be making an appearance at the 7th & 8th grade Christmas concert tomorrow night at LMS in the gym at 6:30pm.
See if you can spot ROARy and I'm sure Mrs. Foster and the band would really appreciate the support! They've been working really hard preparing!

Where do Christmas trees go to school? Elemen-tree school!🤣 Happy Monday friends!
Louie came to hang out again and of course, we found plenty to get into! We found this really cool chair thingy with wheels on it in Nurse Cassie's office (Louie said it's called a wheelchair)...Well, whatever it's called, we took turns pushing each other in it as fast as we could down the hallways. Don't tell Officer Threatt though or else I'll be wanted again...especially after I made his picture look so pretty the other day.
Oh, I almost forgot to give a shoutout to Mrs. Carpenter's class for how quietly they were during their math workshop centers and Ms. Rallings' class for their excellent behavior at lunch on Friday!
My time here is going by so fast, friends! Christmas break is only a few days away, so keep up the great work! See ya tomorrow!
Love,
Roary

Mrs. Rallings 3rd graders have been studying the 6 different regions of SC & some pretty cool facts about SC.
The rocks represent the Blue Ridge, the green glitter represents the Piedmont (we live here), the sand represents the Sandhills, the top soil represents the Inner Coastal zone, the rice represents the Outer Costal zone, & the blue glitter represents the Costal Zone.
Fun Facts about SC:
Capital - Columbia & it’s in the Sandhills region
State Bird - Carolina Wren
State Fruit - peaches (not GA) SC is the 2nd state to grow the most peaches
State Nickname - The Palemtto State
State Tree - the Palm Tree
As we come into the Christmas season we need to all be reminded on how to be a good friend. Mrs. Rallings class took a stroll down the hall and had a mini lesson on kindness and being a good friend.

FINALLY, the rain went away so that Louie and I could go out and play...Boy oh boy is that spinami fun, but we spun so much that everything was spinning. So, we decided to regroup and find something new to get into, and we decorated some pictures up front. Go check them out! They're pretty great if we don't say so ourselves.
Oh and I can't forget to shoutout Ms. Allen & Mrs. Ligon's class for how quietly they walked to lunch and fine arts and Mrs. Cassel's class for walking in a nice straight line.
I'm having so much fun here with my friend Louie, but most of all, I really like watching how hard you and your teachers are working before Christmas break!
P.S. Today's challenge is to tell 3 people they're doing a great job!
See ya later, taters!
Love,
Roary

What is going on with all this melted snow falling out of the sky?! It's all yucky and gross outside, and I didn't pack a raincoat or my rainboots. I got sooo bored being stuck inside, but lucky for me, Louie came to hang out and Coach Jordan had so much room for activities in the gym. We rode the scooters and played basketball and made a cone obstacle course! Oh, and why didn't anyone tell me Santa was coming yesterday?!?!
Shoutout to Mrs. King's class for a great job entering the library, Mrs. Weir's class for working quietly on their CFAs, and Mrs. Glenn's class for checking out their library books so quietly.
Keep up the good work friends! I'll see ya tomorrow!

Roary

After all that front office nonsense, I needed a rest. A good book and a beanbag in the library did the trick...I was out like a light in no time...and how cute is my blanket?!?! Oh no! I hope I didn't drool on Ms. K's library book while I was asleep! We are supposed to take good care of library books or we can't check them out anymore!
Great job Mrs. Farrar's class for their hardwork during their math lesson, Mrs. Knox's class for their great behavior in the hall on their way to lunch, and Miss Thomas' class for sitting quietly after their UFLI lesson.
P.S. Let's do a challenge...I challenge you to say thank you 5 times today!
Love,
Roary

Goooooood moooorning LES,
It was great to be back to my duty yesterday! I decided to celebrate by relaxing in Miss Clack's chair in the front office, but that was so far from relaxing because that phone would not stop ringing. I don't know how those front office ladies get anything done with that thing ringing nonstop. Tell them thank you if you see them, because they are rockstars!
Oh I can't forget to shoutout Ms. Taylor's & Mrs. Jordan's and Ms. Yoder & Mrs. Barnes' classes for their great behavior going to the bus!
See ya tomorrow, friends. Keep up the great work with behavior, I am so proud of you!
Love,
Roary

Dear LES,
I decided to try to explain myself to Dr. Sutton (he's your super awesome superintendent, by the way), and...well...I'm off the hook! Take that, Officer Threatt. While meeting with Dr. Sutton, we discussed some top secret elf business, discussed partnering with Mr. Sumter to help with recruiting, and now I'm pretty sure we are gonna be besties for the resties. So I'm back reporting for duty and the shenanigans will continue...
My helper teachers let me know to shout out Dr. Rockey's class for their excellent behavior in the lunchroom, Ms. Barber's class for their excellent behavior on their field trip, and Ms. Cousar's class for their nice quiet line in the lunchroom.
See ya tomorrow!
Love,
Roary

Well, my first week at LES has been nothing short of fun and exciting. A little sugar plum fairy told me Officer Threatt was looking for me and..well...he got me. I'm going to have to try my best to get out of trouble so I can come back on Monday. Cross your fingers!
Oh and I can't forget to shout out Mrs. Collins' & Mrs. Hinson's class for their excellent work on their UFLI lesson and Mrs. Clack's class for their awesome behavior in the hall on the way to lunch!
I hope I'll see ya on Monday friends!

Roary

Brrrrrr, it is FREEZING...I thought it was supposed to be warm in South Carolina?! I needed somewhere cozy to warm up, and Mr. Trimble's art room was the perfect place. I decided to paint some "happy little trees" like Bob Ross, but his trees are definitely way better. Oh and will someone please tell Mr. Trimble the paintbrush on the board near his door is not the right size for an elf--wait, maybe that's why my happy trees were sad. Shoutout to Ms. Terry & Ms. Patterson's class for how quietly and patiently they waited in the hall and Mrs. Barron's class for taking their time on their MAP tests yesterday! Anywho, see ya tomorrow friends!!
Love,
Roary

Another great day at LES yesterday! Everybody worked so hard on MAP testing and it was so quiet. I was able to get plenty of rest so that I was prepared for my epic snowball fight with Louie, which I won by the way.
Another big shout out to Mrs. McWatters' & Mrs. Bigham's class for being so quiet getting books during library and Mrs. Jordan's class for showing good behavior when leaving the library.
P.S. I didn't clean up mine and Louie's mess, so give an extra high five to the Budd Group today for their hard work in keeping the school so clean!
See ya tomorrow!

Roary

Whew!!! What a busy first day it was yesterday. Thankfully, Mrs.Truesdale has a nice, comfy couch to relax on. But then I had to rock out like Taylor Swift on the ukulele, so now I really need some rest. Oh and big shout out to Miss Brown and Mrs. Campbell's classes for their good behavior leaving lunch! My secret teacher helper was so proud of them! See ya tomorrow and remember to be on your best behavior!
