The latest information from the National Weather Service indicates steady precipitation throughout the day, with below-freezing temperatures overnight. These conditions are likely to create icy roads tomorrow morning.
Due to the potential for unsafe road conditions, all CCSD facilities will be closed on Thursday, February 20, 2025. All 12-month staff members are asked to work remotely as well. All schools and facilities will close at 3:00 p.m. today. The Great Falls High Basketball game will be played at its regular time this evening. We wish the team well as they play this evening!
We ask that everyone please remain safe and continue to monitor our social media for any updates. Have a great rest of your day!

NATIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELING WEEK: District Admins delivered lunches to show appreciation for all the support our counselors provide to students. Thank you to all school and mental health counselors, career coaches, and all in between for your continued dedication to education!

As February begins, we take this opportunity to celebrate Black History Month and reflect on the contributions of African Americans in shaping our workforce, industries, and communities. This year's theme, "African Americans and Labor," invites us to recognize the dedication, ingenuity, and leadership that have propelled progress in every sector of society.
Black History Month is not only a time to reflect on the past but also to inspire our students and communities to build a future where hard work, talent, and determination continue to drive success for all.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Richard Williams on being selected as the District’s new Director of Information Technology!
Mr. Williams began as a school technician in 2020 at Lewisville Elementary School, where he built a strong foundation in educational technology. He then transitioned to Chester Middle School, gaining valuable experience in student and staff support. A year later, he became a network engineer for the District, where he worked extensively with intercom systems, phones, Cisco switches, and overall network infrastructure, ensuring that our schools had the technology needed to support learning. He is eager to begin this new chapter in his career.
“As the new Director of IT, I look forward to leading our technology initiatives, strengthening our infrastructure, and continuing to provide the best possible support for our schools and students. I am eager to see what the future holds and am committed to driving innovation and efficiency in our district technology.”
Congratulations Mr. Williams!
