The National Weather Service has given an update predicting potentially dangerous winter weather conditions tomorrow morning including falling snow/ice. Freezing temperatures will likely create icy road conditions, making it hazardous for our buses to operate while transporting students. For the safety of our school community, the Chester County School District will move to an asynchronous remote learning day on Friday, January 10, 2025. All after-school activities and athletic events scheduled for Friday-Sunday will also be canceled. With asynchronous instruction, students work independently on the work provided. Teachers will advise students of all assignments for the day and will be available during normal school hours via email to provide support as needed. Please ensure that students take home all necessary materials. All District staff members are also asked to work remotely. We will continue to monitor the situation and send updates as needed. Please continue to watch local weather forecasts and stay safe!

Good afternoon Parents, This correspondence is to inform you that the campus was placed on a brief HOLD protocol due to an isolated medical incident within the building. A HOLD protocol means that all students and staff must remain in place and clear the hallways. At no point during the situation was there any danger to students or staff members. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding. Have a great rest of your day!

CCSD is introducing My Ride K-12, a parent communication app, to its transportation operations! My Ride K-12 is a mobile app integrated with student transportation software that allows both you and your student to access estimated times of arrival or departure for your bus. This helps ensure that you and your students are on time for pick-ups and drop-offs while making the bus route more efficient. My Ride K-12 is now available for you to download on your Apple or Android mobile device. Simply search the app store for “My Ride K-12” to download and register yourself on the app. For more information on how to register, visit: https://www.chester.k12.sc.us/page/my-ride-k-12
